You shall not use this site in any manner, which may harm R Yates & Sons Ltd or other parties or adversely affect the site functionality or its use by others. You shall not attempt or obtain from or through this site any information that is not already and intentionally made available from or through it.
Stock Availability
All orders are subject to product availability and limited stock levels. We do our best to keep stock levels on the internet as updated as possible but if the product you have ordered is not available at time of placing an order then payment will be refunded to your card. We will contact you via email to advise if we can get the item in and an estimated time until product dispatch will be given. You have the option to cancel your order should you wish.
Payment
We accept Credit Card, Debit Card and Paypal payments via a secure payment gateway.
Cards accepted are MasterCard / Visa / Visa Delta / Visa Electron / Visa Purchasing / JCB / UK Maestro. We do not accept Amex or Diners Club.
Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Sterling. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers.
We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions or human error. This website operates on an 'invitation to treat' basis and not as an 'offer for sale', and as a result, R Yates & Sons Ltd reserves the right to decline orders.
The goods will not be delivered until the customer's funds paid to R Yates & Sons Ltd have cleared in full.
Credit Card Security
At the payment stage, your details will be encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name and address. Card details are processed by our trading partner, Sagepay on their web site, which complies with PCI standards of security for processing of card information.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We do not store any customers financial or credit card details in any form. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organizations or individuals. Also, please read the document “Privacy and Cookies” here on our website for a fuller explanation of the information collected from the web session.
Delivery
Standard order charge is based on delivering to addresses within UK Mainland, subject to package size and weight. Should your order require additional shipping funds we will contact you via email to advise the extra charges before the funds are taken from your card or the item is dispatched. The target timescale for delivery is 2 working days from receipt of order, but we cannot guarantee timescales in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as those caused by severe weather conditions or exceptional seasonal demand. Last ordering dates for Christmas will be displayed prominently on our web site each year.
Click and Collect
An order for 'Click and Collect' needs to be placed by 3pm in order to be ready for collection after 10am the next day.
Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund along with one of our return forms (please download below) explaining your reasons for returning the item. We will do our best to exchange goods or provide a replacement if possible. When trying on goods that may be returned please take care. Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning any item to us. Your statutory rights are not affected. Cancelling an order
In accordance with the Consumer Contract Regulations, you are entitled to cancel your order at anytime within 14 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 14 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products in a saleable condition within 14 days of receiving your order.
