Delivery and Returns
Delivery
Standard order charge is based on delivering to addresses within UK Mainland, subject to package size and weight. Should your order require additional delivery charges you will be advised to call us for a quote. The timescale for dispatching your order will be within 2 working days. We do not normally dispatch goods for delivery outside of the UK. NB: The "free delivery for orders over £50" offer applies to web site orders only, excluding delivery to addresses within Scotland. Large white goods, cookers, furniture and cycles are only free delivery within a 25 radius of the store, please call our White Goods Department before ordering on 01653 605400.
Process
Each order is personally handled by one of our Web Sales team. The products are sourced and then carefully packaged before being collected by our Courier (or Royal mail Worker). R Yates & Sons Ltd prides itself on delivering a high level of customer service and will try to resolve any issues that occur.
Returns policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund along with one of our return forms (please download below) explaining your reasons for returning the item. We will do our best to exchange goods or provide a replacement if possible. When trying on goods that may be returned please take care. Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning any item to us. Your statutory rights are not affected. Faulty Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. But this right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods (this could be the date of purchase or the date the goods were delivered to you - whichever is later). After the initial 30 days, you can't demand a full refund in the first instance, but you still have the right to a repair or replacement.
Cancelling an order
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are entitled to cancel your order at any time within 14 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 14 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products unopened within 14 days of receiving your parcel.
